There is a cute wee cafe in Glasgow’s West End that transports you straight to Paris. Glasgow bakery VALARIA has spent months developing a new menu and has now revealed a variety of unique sweet baked goods for Summer.
VALARIA located on Byres Road is owned by the team behind the restaurant concept Six by Nico, serving immaculately decorated cakes, bakes, bread, chocolate and confectionery. With 34 seats, the patisserie specialises in innovative cake designs, lovingly handmade pastries and bread, all baked using traditional techniques.
Guests can now order sweet tacos, NY rolls and large macarons at VALARIA available all summer. VALARIA’s new sweet tacos are set to become the new sensations of the West End, with options including Mango & Passion Fruit Tacos with Sablé, mango, passionfruit, almond and Italian meringue, the Raspberry & Coconut Tacos with Sablé, raspberry, almond, coconut and buttercream, or the Strawber
From delicate patisseries to colourful cakes and buttery pastries, VALARIA offers customers a range of treats for breakfast, brunch and lunch, as well as to take away. The Summer range also includes Petit Gateaux, Cookies, Tarts, Eclairs, Macarons and NY Rolls. A variety of breakfast pastries is also available such as Danish, Croissants, and Pain au Chocolat, as well as their own house coffee blend. VALARIA’s blend is claimed to be sourced responsibly from Brazil and Columbia with hints of dark chocolate, hazelnut, and candied mandarin.
Executive pastry chef David Lilley said: “We’re sweetening up summer with the launch of a line of treats and desserts that will provide customers with refreshing options during the hotter days. As we broaden our seasonal menu to include tastes we know our consumers want at this time of year, we remain committed to offering flavour-forward desserts and beverage options prepared with high-quality ingredients and creative innovation.”
